Sara Silver

President and Solution Architect

Sara is a Bruce Springsteen loving, number-crunching crafter from the Midwest that has resided in Phoenix for more than 25 years with her husband Bob and their two sons. Beyond all her talents and interests, Sara excels as our fearless leader.

Sara is the founder and president of Silverware Inc. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics from Northwestern, Sara scored her first job with a small marketing consulting firm specializing in quantitative research. Sara continued her career in analysis but moved to a medical supply company. During that time she began working with computers and PCs, laying the foundation for what would eventually lead to the launch of Silverware in 1988. Sara hired her first employee in 1993. By 1996, her husband Bob officially joined the firm as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. The Silverware team now spans multiple cities and serves clients across the U.S., especially since the merge with Gilbert & Associates in spring 2015. In 2015 Silverware cemented their longstanding business relationship with Gilbert & Associates and merged businesses under the Silverware brand. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Montana, Hub worked for a year as a translator but quickly realized that he would never have an original thought in his head, and swiftly changed career paths. Being a foodie, Hub then went on to pursue a career in the foodservice industry. In 1983 he bought a PC to help him with his catering company. Realizing he could not buy a recipe program off the shelves, he bought a book and taught himself another language – computer programming, the beginnings of his career in computing.
