President and Solution Architect
Sara is a Bruce Springsteen loving, number-crunching crafter from the Midwest that has resided in Phoenix for more than 25 years with her husband Bob and their two sons. Beyond all her talents and interests, Sara excels as our fearless leader.
Sara is the founder and president of Silverware Inc. In her role, Sara focuses the majority of her time consulting with clients and guiding her team of programmers, consultants and project managers as the solution architect behind every project. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics from Northwestern, Sara scored her first job with a small marketing consulting firm specializing in quantitative research. Sara continued her career in analysis but moved to a medical supply company. During that time she began working with computers and PCs, laying the foundation for what would eventually lead to the launch of Silverware in 1988. Sara hired her first employee in 1993. By 1996, her husband Bob officially joined the firm as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. The Silverware team now spans multiple cities and serves clients across the U.S., especially since the merge with Gilbert & Associates in spring 2015. Outside of work, Sara can often be found in her sewing room quilting, outdoors hiking or spending time with friends and family.
Director of Operations
Bob wears many hats at Silverware. He officially assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations officer in 1996, after serving as an outside advisor to the company his wife Sara founded in 1988. Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics at The George Washington University. Four years after his undergrad degree Bob completed his MBA at DePaul University’s Charles K. Gelstadt Graduate School of Business with an emphasis in finance. Bob’s background in banking, along with his strong management skills and calm temperament, make he and Sara quite the dynamic duo. While Sara is focused on leading the team in client solutions, Bob is focused on most everything else. Bob is a Phoenix native that dedicates his spare time volunteering in the community, hiking, cooking and enjoying time with family. He’s a proud Dad to two sons, but will tell you he’s most proud of his wife and her achievements in business and her beautiful quilts.
Director of Business Development
David joined the Silverware team in 2008 as our Director of Business Development, after spending five years building a Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) reseller that he co-founded to focus on the production homebuilding industry. David now leads the sales efforts for Silverware’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) solutions, both on- premise and in the cloud. He is also an expert in multi-tenant, SaaS cloud accounting and financial management software, leading the growth of our Intacct practice since 2011. Despite growing up in Tucson, David attended Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance. However, he has been an avid University of Arizona basketball fan since before the program rose to national prominence. When he’s not working with our current and future clients you’ll find him at a movie, in a spin class at Mountainside Fitness or hiking the local trails.
Silver Leaf CBC Product Manager
In his role as Product Manager, Alex will identify and help facilitate Microsoft Dynamics Business Central solutions for the “growing” cannabis industry. He has an extensive background and training in accounting and finance, beginning his career as an accountant at CliftonLarsonAllen. He later joined Athletes Performance, which provided wellness solutions for large corporate clients including Google, Adidas, Tesla, and Intel, before taking a position as the CFO for a cannabis investment company representing one of the largest cannabis businesses in the southwest, Reef Dispensaries. In 2016, he was named Vice President of Finance and Operations for a private holdings company, U.S. Farm Funding Corporation where the organization expanded from one medical marijuana company to six, and eventually merged with the largest branded cannabis company in Arizona, Harvest, to become Harvest Health & Recreation. Alex attended Regis University, in Denver, CO, earning a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Accounting and Finance. He later returned for his MBA, with an emphasis in Strategic Management. He also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). When he’s not working, Alex enjoys time with his family, hiking, biking and exploring the outdoors near their home in Colorado.
Pyrce joins the Silverware team with more than 15 years in ERP software sales and has worked at some of the top Fortune 500 companies including Apple and Oracle. In his role of account manager at Silverware, Pyrce is dedicated to generating new business for our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central vertical. He is passionate about the industry and providing organizations with solutions needed to help their businesses thrive. Pyrce is originally from Manitoba, Canada where he grew up and attended the University of Manitoba, Winnepeg and earned a degree in marketing. He now resides in the Carefree, Ariz. with his family and is the proud father of five. When he is not meeting with clients, he enjoys working on projects around the house, listening to techno music, trying new restaurants and traveling.
Joe is a devoted techie with 30 plus years of experience and has been with Silverware since 1994. Joe manages the e-commerce for our Sage Pro product (Elevator) as well as NAV install and support. He is a self-starter and is most proud of the fact that a lot of his technical training was self-taught. Joe has been interested in computers for as long as he can remember. He started in the programming side while working in Silicon Valley at a division of Xerox as a production control planner. Joe has been living in Arizona since 1987 and resides in San Tan Valley with his wife. When Joe’s not tinkering with computers or learning about 3D printing, he can be found officiating weddings on the weekends.
Jim is a self-professed techie who enjoys problem-solving. He’s been in the industry since 1976 and honed his skills at the Computer Career Institute. In his role as a developer, finding ways to help customers achieve their business objectives through software modifications is what makes Jim tick.
When he is not sitting behind a computer you are likely to fine Jim outdoors. He has a green thumb and enjoys spending his spare time in his flower garden where he works on keeping the weeds out so his wife can grow her award-winning lilies. Jim was born and raised in Portland, where he still resides today, to a family of classical musicians but he’s a rock n’ roller at heart. He’s also a proud family man, as a Dad to two grown daughters but he has the most fun hanging out with his grandson.
Paul is a NAV consultant that assists our clients with data implementation and troubleshooting solutions. Paul earned his Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology from Black Hills State University, South Dakota. He spent seven plus years working on various ERP implementations before joining the Silverware team in 2014. Prior to moving to Tempe, AZ, Paul resided in Lake Havasu City, where he spent almost a decade working for Creative Tent International. Paul prides himself on his spatial reasoning skills and can build a house from the ground up, but his proudest moment is becoming a dad for the first time! He describes himself as a culture vulture who enjoys travelling, riding his motorcycle and playing hockey.
Prior to joining Silverware as a NAV consultant, Michael spent six years as a NAV user. Michael is a CPA with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Arizona State University and a Master’s in Finance from University of Arizona.
He began his career as a staff accountant at Hickman’s Family Farm. During his 11 years with the company he was promoted to controller and most recently worked as a systems manager, which lead him to pursue his current role at Silverware. As a Silverware Consultant Michael is focused on implementations, providing client’s support through the process and helping them maximize and utilize NAV’s capabilities to meet the companies’ specific needs.
He’s the proud son of immigrant parents. Outside of the office, Michael volunteers for Mi Familia Vota, an organization that helps legal residents obtain their US citizenship. He is an avid soccer fan and loves to travel. At home, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mandy and their Aussie Shepherd, Zubi.
Jesse is a self-described non-techie techie, which is ironic considering her position. Jesse is a programmer with an impressive 22 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in computer science from DeVry Institute of Technology and worked as a teaching assistant at the institute for twoyears before joining Custom PC, which she left in 1995 to join Silverware. Customer satisfaction is paramount to Jesse and it shows in the support she provides to the company’s Pro and NAV clients. While she claims no hidden talents, she must be doing something right, as some of her best friends started as clients. Jesse resides with her family in Sioux City, Iowa and is a proud mom of two boys.
Lydia loves all things tech! When she’s not at the office rocking it in her role as Dynamics NAV Support Technician she can be found building a new computer or enjoying a favorite video game. She’s also self-professed mechanical keyboard aficionado.
Lydia grew up in South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University. Eventually she traded the sunshine for scenic Seattle, where she now resides. Lydia began in NAV implementation shortly after graduating, when she had an opportunity to work on a NAV implementation project and gained tremendous experience. It was then she knew she’d found her niche. Now with five years under her belt, she is well versed in Dynamics NAV and has an in-depth understanding of the system and install process from the ground up. As hidden talents go, Lydia has a natural ear for music and is self-taught on bass, guitar, baritone horn and clarinet. She also loves to be outdoors on her bike, which she often uses to commute to work.
Avril is a business consultant with almost a decade of industry experience. She’s extremely passionate about NAV and loves that it’s a highly dynamic, customizable and intuitive software solution. The first time Avril used NAV as an end-user she was hooked! She now works with Silverware’s clients to ensure best practice and repeatable processes as well as offering the best support services possible. In 2015, Avril became a Microsoft Certified Professional. She grew up in Ohio and attended University of Akron in her home state of Ohio where she studied Emergency Management. Outside of work, she has many interests. She loves hiking, photography and honing her musical skills. As far as hidden talents go, Avril is a self-professed karaoke queen that loves to sing. She is also an animal lover that fosters rescues and has two dogs and a cat of her own. Despite all her talents and accomplishments, she is most proud of her family, especially her daughter.
Anders is a 30-year veteran in the technology hardware and software industry, with almost 25 years working in ERP. Originally from Sweden, Anders first moved to the US in 1997, when he accepted a job as a Senior Programmer and Technical Consultant for Scala North America in Orlando, Florida. After spending two years with the company, he returned Sweden where took a position as an IT consultant and developer. It was during that time his employer required that he become a certified Navision Developer. He been working with NAV ever since. Anders prides himself for being an out-of-the-box thinker with a knack for developing inventive solutions to business challenges and opportunities. Outside of work he loves to travel and has visited more than 40 countries around the globe. He also loves the arts, theater and is a big fan of Formula 1 racing.
Prior to joining the Silverware team as a NAV/BC consultant, Chelsea worked as a project management and client engagement consultant for Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner, Level Seven. There, she honed her skills in training, support and evaluation for clients with a specialization in remanufacturing.
Chelsea is goal orientated and she enjoys learning. On the job, her objective is to learn more about how to be successful in the NAV/BC space, while providing helpful and insightful support to her colleagues and clients, alike. Chelsea is particularly interested in the intersection of business processes and technology. Her focus is on streamlining processes and helping clients achieve ROI from adopting ERP software into their current business processes and technology.
Away from the office, Chelsea enjoys spending time outdoors kayaking and hiking with her mom and their three corgis. Chelsea is a passionate advocate for animals, protesting cruelty and providing support to farm sanctuaries. Her hidden talent is cooking; she especially loves researching new recipes, hunting for the ingredients and sharing with friends and family.
You could say that ERP implementation is in Matt Goodson’s blood. His father has worked in the industry for more than 30 years, which piqued Matt’s initial interest as an end user. After college he began his career in accounting for a distribution company where they used ERP. Matt joins Silverware with experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV as both an end-user and consultant and has a strong background working with both the cannabis and food industries. In his consultant role his focus is on Silverware’s cannabis solution, Silver Leaf CBC. As a key member of the cannabis ERP team, Matt works on system implementations, training new and existing clients on Silver Leaf CBC and providing ongoing customer support. Matt is a graduate of the University of Akron and holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance. Away from the office, the Ohio native enjoys playing golf, checking out a new local brewery or catching a good comedy show or sporting event with his wife.
Brian is a Phoenix native and a proud University of Arizona alum. During college, he worked part-time for a CPA helping the firm’s small business clients. After graduating U of A with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Brian took a sales position with Quicken Loans, where he went through their rigorous training program and was tasked with signing on and assisting new customers. He’s now applying that knowledge and his focus on customer service to his position of Cloud Solution Consultant. In this role, Brian works with prospective clients to find the most appropriate cloud solution. He’s excited to help lead this initiative as companies move operations to the cloud.
Brian is an avid sports fan that loves the Arizona Cardinals and is diehard U of A basketball fan. When he is not cheering on one of his favorite teams, you might find him enjoying his newest hobby, photography. Landscape shots are his favorite and the Arizona desert offers lots of opportunity to hone his skills. He also considers himself a pretty good cook that can grill a mean steak.
Pranav is a NAV consultant and developer responsible for upgrades, installation and support, as well as NAV development. Pranav first discovered his interest in computers during high school. He then got into programming in college while earning his bachelor’s in commerce and computer science. As a result, he was inspired to pursue a master’s in computer applications. Pranav grew up and attended school in India where he began working in the software industry. He enjoys travelling so much that he left India to join Silverware in 2011 and now resides in Chandler, AZ, with his wife. Pranav is most proud of his family, especially his mother’s fighting spirit. He has a philanthropic soul and is currently providing support to a student in India helping with her tuition fees at the university. In his spare time, Pranav enjoys reading books on history and politics.
Max was a kid who loved to code and decided to go to school to study computer programming. Overtime he became a Windows Administrator before being introduced to NAV, where he became a superuser on the customer side. At Silverware, Max supports our NAV clients and ISVs, his goal is to become an expert in all things NAV, even though he’s worked with NAV since 2011.
Max has experience in both brewing and consumer products distributing. He grew up, studied and took his first job in New Jersey; working with Kohler Distributing from 1999-2010. He moved to Arizona from California where he worked for 6 years as an IT Director. He loves to rock climb, paddle board and enjoy the great outdoors. He now resides in Mesa, Ariz. with his wife and daughter, whom he’s extremely proud of.
Theron is a NAV and Intacct consultant that assists our clients with the planning, implementing, enhancement and maintenance of their NAV and Intacct software. A member of the Silverware team since 2007, Theron strives to become an expert in all modules of NAV and business processes. After earning his Bachelor of Science in accounting at Arizona State University, Theron decided to forgo the CPA track to pursue a career in software after working on the NAV implementation team for National Airlines. Theron grew up in southern Idaho but decided to make Arizona home after graduating from ASU. He now lives in San Tan Valley with his family. He loves the outdoors and volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, and he’s most proud of his four children.
Michael is an implementation specialist that has spent more than 15 years in the tech world. An avid learner and alumnus of the college of life experience, he initially started his career in hardware but quickly found it tiresome. When working for his previous employer, Boxlight, a position in database opened and Michael jumped at the chance to expand his skills. After completing training, he began implementing and fell in love with the process. Joining Silverware in 2008, Michael has been providing clients with tech support and customizing NAV to fit their specific needs ever since. Michael lives in Seattle with his wife, Brittany and their daughter, Nataly, named after his favorite indie artist, Nataly Dawn. If you haven’t heard her music, Michael highly recommends checking it out. He considers himself a bit of a culture vulture who loves music, travel, cooking and winemaking. On occasion, he can be found at the helm of a lighting console crewing for one of the local bands.
Matt is a Sun Devil (Arizona State alumnus) and Arizona native. He earned his Bachelor of Science in finance with a minor in economics. He is most proud of completing his Master’s in Business Administration from Argosy University two years ago. Matt is one of Silverware’s newest team members, joining the team in the spring of 2015. He is responsible for responding to support tickets and assigning them to the necessary resources. He also consults with our customers on NAV implementation and development and provides ongoing support. Matt was originally an end user that discovered an interest in Navision, which sparked a change in the course of his career. While working for Ryan’s Pet Supplies as a Microsoft Dynamics NAV Project Manager, he was sent to an application development class. He was assigned to project manage and develop the company’s software implementation. The rest is history. Outside of work, Matt can mix a mean cocktail when he’s moonlighting as a bartender. To relax he enjoys playing softball and binge watching Netflix.
Sage Intacct Practice Manager
Nancy is a Sun Devil through and through, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master’s in Information Management from Arizona State University (ASU). Nancy grew up in Idaho, but after moving to the area for school she made the Valley her home.
Nancy brings 30 years of industry experience to Silverware with 12 years consultancy experience in accounting solutions. In her new role as Intaact Implementation Consultant, she is instrumental in assisting Silverware clients with the transition and integration of Intaact with current systems and work flow needs. Away from the office Nancy enjoys spending time with her family. She is a mom of 6 and considers herself a bit of a chef! Nancy is also an adventure seeker; her hobbies range from mountain biking to kite surfing. Apart from her children, she’s most proud of her husband who is a professor at ASU.
Dynamics Practice Manager
Dan is a Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC Practice Manager with 15 years of industry experience. Before joining the Silverware team, Dan has worked heavily in the partner channel as well as with multiple end users. He has extensive experience and working with end users and partners, solution architects and IT leaders. He especially enjoys the collaborative process. Dan grew up in New Hampshire, but lives in West Seattle, where he enjoys the outdoor lifestyle away from the office. Dan’s interests include photography, trial running and backpacking. He is also a doting dad. Dan is particularly proud of his daughter’s drive to always do her best, while retaining an honest sense of humbleness, even when she excels.
Elizabeth’s adventurous spirit landed her in the desert from her native state of Washington. A recent graduate of Grand Canyon University, she holds a B.S. in Accounting. After working in payroll while completing her studies, Elizabeth quickly figured out that she was missing something. She wanted to work with people and not just numbers, which lead her into consultancy and joining the Sage Intacct practice at Silverware. Elizabeth assists with the implementation and configuration of new Sage Intacct client solutions, while working with existing clients to maximize the capabilities of the software and bring more value to their business.
A middle child of 7 kids, she’s most proud of her family and refers to her mom as “Super Mom.” She’s an avid runner and has completed not one but two Ironman 70.3’s! As far as hidden talents go she can speak French but admits she’s probably not fluent anymore. Away from the office, when she’s not training for a triathlon, you may find Elizabeth hiking Camelback mountain or skydiving in Eloy, Arizona.
Shilpa is a NAV consultant with more than six years of industry experience. Her journey as a NAV consultant was sparked by a self-driven interest. While working in sales she discovered NAV’s sophisticated capabilities when putting together inventory status reports for clients. This inspired her to expand her knowledge of the technology during her downtime, which ultimately lead her to a career from sales to consulting. Shilpa is well-versed in business and education, earning her Post Graduate Diploma in Management where she majored marketing, finance and information technology at Integrated Academy of Management & Technology, India
Shilpa grew up in Chennai, India and now lives in Phoenix with her husband and their two sons. She’s a proud Mom that loves hiking and nature. Tapping into her creative side, you will find Shilpa in the kitchen cooking her favorite dishes from home or painting Madhubani, an Indian folk art based in nature.
Mitzi is a NAV end-user turned consultant that is focused on training and documentation. She began working with NAV nearly 15 years ago when she was Director of Operations for The Great Fish Company, wholesale seafood distribution company. Her challenges as an end-user inspired her to want to work with companies going through implementations to help them have a smooth transition. Mitzi grew up in Birmingham Alabama and attended University of Alabama where she studied business and was a member of the marching band (Roll Tide). She is a devoted dog-mom, expert trivia player, wannabe real estate guru and she recently took up cooking. In addition to her many interests, Mitzi prides herself on her research abilities and admits she has an addiction to finding a good deal.
Silver Leaf CBC Practice Manager
After nearly 7 years with Silverware as an implementation specialist, Jennifer took on the role of Practice Manager for Silver Leaf CBC powered by Dynamics NAV/BC. As a Seattle-area native, Jennifer works out of the Silverware office in West Seattle, WA. Jennifer is passionate about providing Silverware clients with the best experience possible during implementation and during the continued use of their chosen ERP.
Prior to joining Silverware, Jennifer was the Controller at a bottled water manufacturer, Advanced Refreshment (formerly Advanced H2O, Inc. and since purchased by Niagara Bottling), for whom she worked for 10 years. Prior to joining Advanced H2O, Jennifer worked for two other companies accumulating 20 years of finance and accounting experience along the way before becoming part of the Silverware team.
Jennifer is an extremely proud mom of one son and three fur-babies (two dogs and one cat). When not working, you might find Jennifer walking her dogs along the nearby waterfront, attending touring Broadway shows with her son, traveling, or curled up in a corner somewhere with a good book.
Office Manager - Seattle
Liz is the trusty office manager in our Seattle office, responsible for the day-to-day running of our Pacific Northwest branch, as well as providing sales support. Liz grew up in SoCal, but headed north for college where she studied English at Seattle Pacific University. Prior to joining Silverware Liz worked on project teams for accounting and inventory software upgrades/implementations as a subject matter expert and really enjoyed the process. Her husband is from Wisconsin, which explains Liz’s love for the Green Bay Packers and cheese curds. As far as hidden talents go Liz rowed on her college crew team and now aspires to dust off her oars and renew rowing as a hobby. Like many Seattle dwellers, she loves the great outdoors and is a season ticket holder and avid fan of the local soccer club, the Seattle Sounders.
Kieran is a Microsoft Dynamics NAV Consultant that prides himself on implementing, maintaining, and integrating customer systems; delivering value-added results to scope on a budget.
Kieran spent his formative years in West Virginia and Maryland. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and began working as an ERP Consultant in 2017. Prior to consulting, Kieran spent six years as an accountant where he automated accounting procedures and enhanced financial reporting. While his experience in accounting grants him a strong financial understanding in a wide variety industries, his programming knowledge gives him the technical know-how to design and implement the necessary automations to let finance professionals to work more efficiently and effectively.
Kieran looks forward to bridging the gap between technical and functional consulting. Outside of the office, he enjoys photography and is an amateur pianist. He also enjoys spending time outdoors biking, skiing and hiking and likes to keep his finger on the pulse of tech; applying new technology to the industry.
Many will be surprised to learn that at the age of nine, Jason co-hosted a kid’s show on local TV featuring a remote control robot. While his brush with celebrity was short lived, Jason's creative thinking, combined with his knack for technology, makes him a shining star in the world of software. Jason began his career in software development in 1999 when he was first introduced to NAV. After spending a decade with Management Solutions in Houston, Texas, Jason relocated to Phoenix and joined the Silverware team in 2010. As a senior developer, Jason designs and implements customized solutions for Silverware’s NAV clients. Originally from Florida, Jason grew up in Mississippi and moved to Houston after high school but now considers himself a full-fledged Phoenician. When he’s not at the office, he enjoys hiking, camping and competitive gaming.
Sharyn is an Arizona native and a graduate of Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University where she double majored in marketing and sustainability. After college, Sharyn left behind the Valley of the Sun and relocated to Seattle where she began her career as a cloud enterprise analyst. It was there that she cultivated her passion for research by utilizing data and storytelling to drive change in a company’s products and services. Based in the Seattle office, Sharyn also spends time in Phoenix, where she visits family, friends, and all her favorite music venues. She loves travel and food; when she isn’t working you just might find her on a quest for the perfect noodle bowl.
Office Manager - Phoenix
She’s back by popular demand! Gail Wiley initially filled the position of Office Manager from 2000 – 2004, before taking a career break to raise her son. During that time, she also volunteered for a variety of non-profit organizations, worked part-time managing the stockroom at Pottery Barn and did a variety of projects for a boutique marketing firm. Prior to her initial stint at Silverware, Gail built a career in sales and marketing, which eventually moved her to Phoenix. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Gail attended the University of Nebraska where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Gail’s keen attention to detail and winning personality are just two valuable attributes that she brings to the job. Her professional experience provides a fresh perspective to the team. Beyond her professional knowledge, Gail is also a bit of a foodie. She loves trying new restaurants and testing new recipes at home. Outside of home she likes spending time with her family in San Diego (especially in the summer) or vacationing like a local in one of her favorite spots – Paris.
An experienced and knowledgeable developer of Sage Pro and NAV accounting systems, Eric has more than 24 years of experience in the industry and has been supporting Silverware clients since 2006. Eric grew up in Phoenix, but he and his wife now reside in West Seattle. When Eric is not working, he donates his time as website manager for Ingersoll Gender Center. Eric is also a car enthusiast that loves working on his 2002 Range Rover and his 1966 Ford Mustang. A man of many talents, he and his wife are skilled gardeners that regularly harvest their raspberry and strawberry crops for their homemade jam, but his greatest culinary feat is his oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
